Frances is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with nine years’ experience in developing and gaining consents for large scale projects including renewable energy infrastructure. Prior to joining Harmony, Frances worked at EDF Renewables UK where she supported them to develop their first green hydrogen plant and led on a pipeline of utility scale solar at varying stages of the development cycle exceeding 1000MW.
She will be working on Harmony projects from initial inception all the way through to site mobilisation and start of construction, working with landowners and their agents to agree commercial terms, building relationships with local communities, managing the planning consent process and supporting technical due diligence before the start of construction.
Frances said: “I’m delighting to be joining a dynamic company which has already made significant progress in its ambition to support a more secure energy future. We have some exciting projects in the pipeline a varying stages from conception to construction, and I’m looking forward to playing my part in delivering those projects.”

In November 2021 Harmony Energy launched the Harmony Energy Income Trust plc, listed on the London Stock Exchange (‘HEIT’). HEIT is an investment company that invests in commercial scale energy storage and renewable energy generation projects which has exclusive rights to acquire a pipeline of battery energy storage projects within Harmony Energy’s control, as well as preferential rights over Harmony Energy’s future projects.
In addition, Harmony Energy has partnerships with FRV and TagEnergy. In total, Harmony owns and operates 42MW/84MWh of Tesla Megapack Battery Systems in the UK, has 312.5MW/625MWh in build with a further pipeline over 1GW/2GWh.
