Holes Bay first to go live with new API

Our Holes Bay battery storage plant was used to help balance supply and demand in Britain’s electricity market for the first time this week, as reported by Bloomberg.

The Holes Bay battery storage facility, built and operated by Harmony Energy with Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) using Tesla batteries, became the first to go live with National Grid ESO’s new API, which makes it easier to access the UK’s balancing mechanism market.
